For more than 100 years, Bozeman Health has provided high quality, compassionate care to the communities of Southwest Montana. Throughout Bozeman Health’s history, community generosity and philanthropy have played a major role in our growth and development. Built in 1986, Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital has added needed community services through the addition of medical office buildings, physician offices, and expanding the Deaconess Hospital emergency department. However, the core facility of Deaconess Hospital has not changed.
To best care for patients and their families, Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital is building a patient care tower with a new ICU, renovating and expanding existing space for support services, and initiating a major charitable campaign to enable these important enhancements.
Building the new intensive care unit (ICU) focused on critical care for our growing population of adults and seniors and Southwest Montana’s first NICU for babies in vital need of specialized care that allows families to stay close to home.
Serving our communities’ vulnerable neighbors through mission-driven services and patient financial assistance. Additionally, Bozeman Health is expanding the services it offers to those in need of mental health and substance abuse related services in Bozeman, Big Sky and throughout our growing region.
Establishing funds to support new equipment and treatments in cancer care and cardiac care.
Helping accelerate the pace at which new specialties and healthcare services become available in Big Sky, in addition to enabling special equipment purchases and provide for emergency simulations and scenario-based training for BSMC employees.
Continued private charitable funding through Bozeman Health Foundation is essential to insuring financial stability and maintaining local, nonprofit leadership of our healthcare system. The foundation raises private funds for two purposes. First, contributions are sought for capital projects, specialized equipment and expanded services that provide patients advanced treatments in their home community. Second, we continue to build our program and endowment funds so that our resources will ensure a perpetual impact on causes that matter to us and our revered donors.
